Submitting this form does not guarantee vehicle release. Release is subject to verification, required documentation, payment, agency requirements if applicable, and Gale's approval.
Release review requirements
- The person requesting release must be the registered owner, a person in lawful possession, an insurance company handling the claim, or an authorized agent acting for one of those parties.
- Gale's may require current registration, title, rental agreement, bill of sale, insurance claim documentation, government-issued photo ID, written authorization, and payment of approved charges before release.
- If another person is picking up the vehicle, the registered owner or lawful possessor must authorize that person and provide supporting identification/documentation.
- If the tow involved law enforcement, a hold, citation, recovered stolen vehicle, or other agency instruction, a police or agency release may be required before the vehicle can be released.
- Oregon towing and storage requirements may affect release timing, access to emergency personal property, license plates, gate fees, and required documentation. Gale's will review the request under the applicable Oregon requirements for the tow.
- Gale's does not allow repairs or work on vehicles in the storage yard unless specifically approved by staff.
